3rd Eye, Calicut Charity Scheme No.31 - House-Shelter Aid Programme- Sri.Balakrishnan, Kellur, Manathavadi, Wayanad
An
Application from Sri.Balakrishnan Konnappalam, Kappumkunnu, Kellur.P.O.,
Porunnanore, Kellur, Vellamunda, Karingari Ward, Mananthavady, Wayanad, Kerala
– 670645 has been received to us in March, 2020. We have verified the case and found that their
house is totally in a dilapidated condition in which anybody living is very un-safe.
We could find that considering their condition, Vellamunda Panchayath has
constructed a foundation in their plot about 2-3 years back thru the Life
housing Scheme. At present, They urgently require a
safe place to atleast sleep at night. Sri.Balakrishnan, 76 years and His wife Smt.Kalyani, 65 years are
struggling to live. Their place is in a remote location
and they
have got 2 daughters both are married, but, one is having mental illness and
another is a cancer patient.
After considering all the aspects and due verification and
recommendation from Pachayath member, we have decided to help them by providing
a small room made of iron tude/bars frame and enclosure & roof by sheets
around 3 X 3 Mt.Sqr, safe enough to live until a permanent help is received
from the Government. The material which
we use can be re-used on further development.
An estimate has been prepared and Rs.30,000/- would be required to build such a small
shed. The existing bathroom shall also be repaired. We plan to construct the
room within the end of June, 2020.
We request all the
philanthropic minds and good souls to contribute at their might to help these
senior citizens to atleast have a safe place to live.
